Trip Flow Rate
The flow rates were measured at 10 psi for a random sampling
of 20 EFVs. The range was calculated using +/- 3 standard deviations
about the mean. The trip flow rate throughout the pressure range
was then extrapolated by testing three typical EFV's at various
pressures and adding and subrtracting the same percentage of
flow as at 10 psi to achieve +/- 3 standard deviations. |

Bleed-by Flow Rate
The bleed-by flow rate was measured by actuating
the EFV at various pressures throughout the range. |

Pressure Drop Flow Rate
The pressure drop over the EVF was measured at various flow
rates for inlet pressures of 5 psi, 10 psi, and 25 psi. |
