Elster Group announces business alignment in North America . . .

Elster Group, the worlds leading provider of metering utilization solutions for the gas, electricity and water industries, announces business alignment in North America.

Elster is aligning seven of its business units in North America. The alignment includes American Meter Company, Perfection Corporation, North American Services Group, Canadian Meter, Elster Instromet, Elster AMCO de Mexico, and H&H Engineered Molded Products into a new business unit, Elster Gas North America.

Elster completed its transition of the primary business units to the Elster Group as Elster American Meter, Elster Perfection, Elster Meter Services Elster Canadian Meter, and Elster Instromet in early October 2006. This strategic initiative positions the company to tap into the growth potential of the gas and water markets on a sustainable basis.
