Elster Group transitions Perfection Corporation to Elster Perfection

December 15, 2006 - The Elster Group completed its transition of the Perfection Corporation business unit to Elster Perfection in early December 2006. This strategic initiative positions the company to tap into the growth potential of the natural gas, propane, and appliance markets on a sustainable basis.

Elster has aligned seven of its business units in North America. The alignment includes American Meter Company, Perfection Corporation, North American Services Group, Canadian Meter, Instromet, Inc., Elster AMCO de Mexico, and H&H Engineered Molded Products into a new business unit, Elster Gas North America. The Elster Perfection business unit will continue to market the respected Perfection brand of products and solutions to the natural gas, propane and appliance markets, including brand names such as Permasert ®, Servi-sert ™, and Coppersert ™ These products have been trusted by industry professionals for over 60 years, and are now backed by the largest manufacturer of metering solutions in the world.
