PERFECTION CORP ANNOUNCES ALLIANCE
PARTNERSHIP WITH ERICO INC.

Perfection Corporation announces the creation of an
Alliance Partnership with Erico, Inc. of Solon, Ohio,
an industry leader in the manufacture of cathodic protection
connection products.
Through this partnership, Perfection will now market
Erico's CADWELD® line of exothermic welding products
to the natural gas utility market. This product addition
will complement Perfection's extensive line of polyethylene
gas distribution products for the natural gas market.
Perfection products include mechanical couplings, risers,
transitions, valves and tapping tees, prefabricated
meter sets and meter set components. CADWELD® products
are recognized industry-wide as superior for creating
electrical connections to provide cathodic protection.
In the natural gas industry, these products are used
primarily for attaching anodes to steel pipelines, an
essential step in providing cathodic protection to the
pipeline. CADWELD® products are simple to use, cost-effective
and provide a corrosion-free molecular bond that will
not loosen or increase in resistance. Connections created
by CADWELD® products are superior to other mechanical
or pressure-type surface-to-surface contact connections.
An inventory of CADWELD® products will be housed
at Perfection's Geneva, Ohio facility for ease of access
and shipment.
Perfection Corporation, based in Madison, Ohio, manufactures
and markets a complete line of polyethylene gas distribution
products for the natural gas and propane markets. In
addition to the products listed previously, Perfection
also produces polyethylene fittings for water distribution
systems, as well as fabricated products for original
equipment manufacturers in various markets. These fabricated
products include corrosion-resistant water heater components,
appliance components, and specialty fabricated steel
pipe and plastic tubing. Perfection also operates a
subsidiary company, a custom injection molder of plastics.
