Elster Gas North America Announces One Global Company at 2007 AGA Operations Conference & Biennial Exhibition

Cleveland, OH, March 23, 2007 ­ Elster Gas North America part of Elster Group, the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of highly accurate, high quality, integrated metering and utilization solutions, announces completion of the alignment of American Meter Company, Perfection Corporation, North American Services Group, Canadian Meter, Elster Instromet, Elster AMCO de Mexico, and H&H Engineered Molded Products into a new business unit, Elster Gas North America.

These trusted brands will now be one global company. The new names of these primary business units are Elster American Meter, Elster Perfection, Elster Meter Services, Elster Canadian Meter, and Elster Instromet. This strategic initiative positions the company to tap into the growth potential of the gas utility market on a sustainable basis pulling together a more complete product offering including information and services for it’s natural gas utility customers.

Elster Gas North America will be showcasing the breadth and depth of its product line at the 2007 AGA Distribution Conference in Grapevine, Texas including residential, commercial and industrial meters and regulators, ultrasonic flow meters, gas distribution piping products as well as Elster Integrated Solutions’ global multi-utility AMR/AMI solutions and turnkey systems to handle revenue and customer service challenges.
