KRANSTUBER NAMED NATIONAL SALES MANAGER AT PERFECTION

Madison, OH – December 3, 2001

Scott A. Kranstuber has been promoted to National Sales Manager – Gas Products at Perfection Corporation. In this position, he is responsible for all sales activities related to the company's gas distribution products, including the supervision and management of Perfection's direct sales force and its distributor/wholesaler network. He also oversees the company's customer service, inside sales and marketing communications functions. He reports to Perfection's president, Barry G. O'Connell.

Kranstuber joined Perfection Corporation in 1990 and has held the positions of Sales Engineer, District Sales Manager and Western Regional Sales Manager prior to this promotion. Kranstuber holds a Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Kent State University (Kent, Ohio) and is a member of several national, regional and state gas associations. He and his wife, Nancy, reside in Painesville, Ohio.Perfection Corporation, based in Madison, Ohio, manufactures and markets a complete line of polyethylene gas distribution products for the natural gas and propane markets including mechanical couplings, risers, transitions, valves and tapping tees, as well as prefabricated meter sets and meter set components.

The company also produces polyethylene fittings for water distribution systems, as well as fabricated products for original equipment manufacturers in various markets. These fabricated products include corrosion-resistant water heater components, appliance components, and specialty fabricated steel pipe and plastic tubing. Perfection also operates a subsidiary company, a custom injection molder of plastics.
