NEW COMPUTER SYSTEM IMPROVES DATA MANAGEMENT

Perfection Corporation and H&H Engineered Molded Products are in the process of installing a new company-wide computer system. The companies have chosen the windows based SAP (Systems Applications Products) system to replace their current MAPICs system. SAP utilizes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), a business system that coordinates the reporting of company functions including finance, production planning and control, purchasing, inventory, and sales. One of the key benefits to Perfection is that SAP provides the ability to share and coordinate information between departments rather than having multiple systems and databases that do not communicate.

A team of implementation consultants and a group of employees from Perfection and H&H are working together to make this transition successful. Employees are very enthusiastic about the transition and know the SAP system will provide them with superior data management and ultimately a more efficient company.

Perfection Corporation, based in Madison, Ohio, manufactures and markets a complete line of polyethylene gas distribution products for the natural gas and propane markets including mechanical couplings, risers, transitions, valves and tapping tees, as well as prefabricated meter sets and meter set components.

The company also produces polyethylene fittings for potable water distribution and wastewater systems, as well as fabricated products for original equipment manufacturers in various markets. These fabricated products include corrosion-resistant water heater components, appliance components, and specialty fabricated steel pipe and plastic tubing. Perfection also operates a subsidiary company, a custom injection molder of plastics.
